Ive spent a lot of time looking at other successful Youtube channels and how they film their videos, and how they present them on their channel. It is important to have a good quality camera, I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-G3 which films in HD and allows zooming in etc. This is crucial when filming makeup videos as people need to actually be able to see what you are doing. 

The back drop of a video is also an issue, I recently purchased a white photography background from ebay... It was awful! Absolute waste of money, I wanted a professional backdrop but unfortunately I had to settle for my bedroom, I intend on buying something much better when I can actually afford it!

The Videos Description is also very important! Subscribers want easy access to the products you have used, they ask a lot of questions and it can be difficult to fulfil all of them with answers so it is best to answer as many questions as possible in the description box of the video.
